Reading your wonderful tips, I have to say it -- every letter can be a love letter when it comes from the heart. It may not be romantic love, but just the act of writing is an act of love.

You are right–love letters are better than emails and ... perhaps chocolate. I have a box of love letters my husband wrote to me when he was in the Army Reserves Training Camp. I re-read them on Valentine's Day, shed a few tears and have a few chuckles.
